Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish singer, songwriter, musician and actress. Corr first made an appearance in 1990 as the lead singer of The Corrs, a Celtic folk and pop group The Corrs along with her three older siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She's a singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. Andrea Corr was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was awarded to her, as well as being known as the member of the Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock band The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she also serves as the group's leader. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea later emerged as a talented musician and a actor on stage. She voiced in the Warner Bros. 1998 animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted musician. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums and two live albums along with one remix. Furthermore, she has also received awards for her work in the field of humanitarian aid. Andrea has two kids with her stockbroker partner. Andrea's first music lesson was to learn the tin horn. She learned to play the piano under the tutelage of Gerry. Andrea is also proficient on the ukulele. Andrea honed her skills in music in her teens. She would practice with her siblings and eventually earned the position that of lead singer for the band. Andrea took part in numerous plays at the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
